Many people see Christmas or New Year as an instance to party, buy presents, eat and drink a lot, but for me is rather different. I see the end of the year as an opportunity to take some time to reflect back on what I've done during the year and how I feel about it.

My basic new year resolution is to make every year a memorable year. For me, one of the most important things is to be truly happy with what I'm doing.

It's kind of what Steve Jobs said in Stanford, back in 2005.

"For the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something." -- Steve Jobs

December 2011 was a really important month for me, we had broken up just a couple months ago and I wasn't totally sure about what to do on 2012. University just didn't feel right.

But, against what many thought, everything turned out to go amazingly good. This year I've seen and done things that I never thought I would do. And the only secret was to do what I thought it was right to do.

So, my plan for 2013 is to continue doing what my guts tell me to do. And I would recommend anyone who's reading this to do the same thing.

For closing, I want to share a video that Arik sent me a couple months ago. I really like it because that's the way I see life.
